VERO BEACH, Fla., July 21,
2003, 7:30 P.M. &emdash; The New Piper Aircraft,
Inc. today announced that it is under new ownership
after a buyout and recapitalization of the company
sponsored by American Capital Strategies Ltd.
(Nasdaq: ACAS), which now owns 94 percent of the
aircraft manufacturer's voting equity. American
Capital first invested in Piper in May
1998.

VERO BEACH, Fla., July 15,
2003 &emdash; The New Piper Aircraft, Inc.
announced today that American Capital Strategies
Ltd. (Nasdaq:ACAS) has purchased the company's
secured bank debt. Moreover, in an effort to
restructure its balance sheet and reduce its debt
leverage, New Piper anticipates that a
recapitalization of New Piper will occur shortly.
American Capital first invested in New Piper in
1998.

Dakota Signs Up For 10 New Piper Aircraft
LAKELAND, Fla., April 2,
2003 &endash; Despite a difficult economy, The New
Piper Aircraft, Inc., continues to make solid
inroads in the vastly competitive trainer market
segment selling "full-lines" to aviation schools.
The aircraft manufacturer announced here today that
it has just signed a deal for an additional 10 New
Piper aircraft to the University of North Dakota
(UND).
