TIACA SELECTS AMSTERDAM
AIRPORT SCHIPHOL TO HOST ITS AIR CARGO FORUM IN
2010
TIACA Air Cargo Forum and
Exposition November 2-4, 2010.
Amsterdam Airport
Schiphol, one of the world's leading air cargo
gateways, has been chosen by The International Air
Cargo Association (TIACA) to host its Air Cargo
Forum and Exposition in 2010.
The biennial event
returns to Europe in 2010 after being hosted in
Calgary Canada in 2006 and, in 2008, Kuala Lumpur.
The TIACA Air Cargo Forum attracts thousands of
senior industry executives and hundreds of
exhibitors from across the globe to its three-day
event and, over its 46-year history, has earned a
strong reputation for the quality of its delegates,
the unlimited networking opportunities and the
lively
conference debates
it generates. Announcing Amsterdam Airport
Schiphol's successful bid to host ACF
2010,
Gary Bartek,
Chairman of TIACA, said: "We know the choice of
Amsterdam will be extremely popular with TIACA
delegates and exhibitors all over the world. With a
throughput of 1.5 million tonnes of air cargo per
annum, Amsterdam Airport Schiphol is a major cargo
airport that sits at the heart of Europe and acts
as a gateway to the rest of the world.

several strong bids to host ACF 2010. What
particularly impressed our selection committee
about Amsterdam were not just its freight volumes
and impressive infrastructure but its commitment to
air cargo and its ambitious development plans. We
know Kuala Lumpur in 2008 will be a great event and

equally professional and committed partner to
ensure this tradition
is upheld in 2010."
ACF 2010 will take place at the RAI congress centre
in Amsterdam from
November 2-4,
2010.

TIACA's Air Cargo
Forum attracts delegates and exhibitors from
airlines, freight and logistics organizations,
shippers, airports, GSAs and ground handling
agents, trucking companies, technology and
equipment providers
