TAAG Angola Airways, based at Quatro de Fevereiro Airport, Luanda, is the national airline of Angola. The carrier is wholly owned by the Angolan government. TAAG operates domestic services within Angola as well as regional and international services to destinations in Africa, South America and Europe. TAAG ANGOLA AND EMIRATES - A NEW OPPORTUNITY SEALED   Oct O1, 2014   Dubai based Emirates Airlines has signed a 10-year management deal with Angola's national airline TAAG. This could make Emirates operation in Africa way more prominent and relevant. The agreement includes code-sharing and participation in frequent flyer programs. The deal was signed on Tuesday. It does notinclude Emirates buying equity in TAAG. Emirates will appoint four senior executives to implement a new business plan for TAAG Angola Airlines. Emirates will also conduct crew training. Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Ahmad bin Saeed Al Maktoum said in a statement the company sees "huge potential in Africa". He says that Emirates wants to provide "deeper reach and better connectivity" for its passengers in Central and South Africa.
