Artists
for Kids Trust
The
Artists for Kids Trust was established in 1989 through a
generous cooperation of some of Canada's finest artists and
the North Vancouver Board of School Trustees. Each year,
3,000 children from all over BC are involved in the program,
which provides a variety of Fine Arts enrichment
opportunities for students, plus scholarships and hands-on
experience at the Paradise Valley Summer School of the Arts,
near Squamish, BC. Patrons include such famous names as the
late Bill Reid, Robert Bateman, Toni Onley, B.C., Binning,
George Littlechild, Takao Tanabe, Jean McEwan, Ted Harrison,
Doris Shadbolt, Michael Snow, David Blackwood, Guido
Malinari and Molly Lamb.
