ANNUAL
DISCOVER EUROPE TRAVEL EXPO TAKES PLACE IN CALGARY
AND VANCOUVER
...............
Flashback
Building on its success in Vancouver over the past
two years, Discover Europe has added Calgary as a
second location for its 2003 Expo.
Discover Europe has garnered a
reputation for being the ultimate source for
European travel information in BC. It makes sense
for Discover Europe to expand and provide that same
great service in Alberta. And with the addition of
trained travel consultants on-site at the show this
year, it is an ideal event for consumers to plan
and book European travel, says Carol McLelan,
Marketing Manager of Flight Centre Western
Canada.
Discover Europe is hosted
February 26 in Calgary by the Calgary Herald and
Flight Centre, followed by a Vancouver show March
2, hosted by the Vancouver Sun and Flight
Centre.
In both cities, Discover
Europe will also once again feature popular travel
films on European destinations, free travel
consultation, spot prizing including a trip for two
to London England.
Europe continues to be
a popular destination among North American
travelers with its outstanding variety of safe and
affordable destinations. The Euro has also made
travel between European countries much
easier, adds McLelan.
Calgary Discover Europe Expo
will be held at the Holiday Inn Downtown, #119-12th
Avenue S.W., from 6:30pm - 9:00pm one day only,
Wednesday, Feb 26. Discover Europe arrives in
Vancouver at the Empire Landmark Hotel at 1400
Robson Street, from 10am to 4pm one day only,
Sunday March 2. Those attending either show will
receive significant booking discounts as well as
door prizes and a chance to win a trip for two to a
European Destination with the draw to be held at
the show. Admission is free.
