There is an increasing
awareness of the effect that tourism can have on the
environment around the world and of the consequent
responsibilities weighing on the travel industry to
protect and preserve our natural and cultural
heritage. While the main message of our seminars and
debate is that nature and culture cannot survive
unchanged without our help, the subtext remains that
we help ourselves by helping preserve the natural
integrity of our planet.
Following the tradition of
Green Globe 21, we are holding our 7th
Environmental Awareness Day in conjunction with
the World Travel Market and we would like you to take
part in supporting the need for environmental
action.
