On the Road to Destination
Germany The German
National Tourist Office (GNTO) and some of its
leading suppliers are off to the upcoming

in Alexandria, Dallas and Houston. The GNTO will
present the new figures from the German tourism
market; information on art and culture; river
cruising; christmas markets; as well as upcoming
events and cultural highlights. The participants
will not only entice the travel agents with new
presentations but also with a mini trade
show. Participants
will have the opportunity to meet the nine member
city alliance "Magic Cities" with representatives
from Duesseldorf, Hannover, Cologne, Munich and
Berlin and representatives from the "Historic
Highlights" group. The cities of Bremerhaven,

Thuringia, Lufthansa German Airlines, the
Steigenberger Hotel Group, Rail Europe, DER Rail
& EuroGroups, Amadeus Waterways, the Avis Rent
a Car Group and the tour operators Globus and

city, the partners of the GNTO will be raffling off
prizes, such as roundtrip tickets with Lufthansa,
German Rail passes and various hotel
accommodations. The Destination
Germany Road Show will feature a dinner or
"Brotzeit" presentation starting at 5:30pm in
Alexandria on October 17th at the Holiday Inn
