From
Fraser Valley to Vancouver's Waterfront, Interurban
rail travel is on a Mission
The
West Coast Express operates daily between the
Vancouver Waterfront (not far from our offices in
Gastown) and the Fraser Valley community of
Mission. The first day we took our first train trip
turned out to be a memorable occasion in the annals
of BC transportation. Not only was the West Coast
Express experience pleasant and friendly, we
arranged to stay overnight at the famous
Westminster Abbey in Mission. The next morning, we
drove to Abbotsford Airport, where we boarded the
inaugural flight of WestJet Airlines to Calgary,
Edmonton and return. It was certainly a weekend to
remember. See
Mission Page
and Westminster Abbey.
