WILLIAMS

1.      Celebrate the Holidays in our historic setting in the mountains. Enjoy our Parade of Lights on December 6th, a Christmas craft sale, lighting contests, live entertainment, luminaries, downtown shopping opportunities and other holiday activities through December.

2. All Winter Long Golf in Williams at the Elephant Rocks Golf Course. Enjoy spectacular views of the San Francisco Peaks and Bill Williams Mountain at the Elephant Rrocks Golf Course.

3. Experience the magic of the Polar Express 2003, the classic children's book by Chris Van Allsburg. Enjoy the trip to the North Pole and then home with Santa. Make this a family holiday tradition. This year the Polar Express 2003 will run December 4th to the 8th, the 11th to the 15th, and from the 17th through the 22nd.

4.      Williams is the Gateway to the Grand Canyon. Enjoy the wintertime beauty of thee Canyon. You can drive to all the west rim viewpoints in the winter and experience the grandeur of the Canyon in near solitude.

7.     Visit Williams for their annual Miss Williams Route 66 Pageant. This coming year's event will be held on February 14th, 2004. The winner of the Miss Williams Route 66 title will represent Williams in different community events throughout the year. 

8.      Come to Williams and enjoy nightly shootouts, the beautiful San Francisco Peaks, Bill Williams Mountain, and famous Route 66. All year long there are special events and daily activities occur through the town.

12. Kick off your holiday season by participating in Page's Toys for Tots Street Parade. This event takes place on December 6th in downtown Page. It will include visits from Santa, cider and activities, activites for the entire family, and much more.

13. If you haven't started your Christmas shopping yet join friends and family in Page for Santa's Last Call Arts and Crafts Fair. This year Santa's Last Call will be held on December 7th and 8th.

14. Are you ready for some fun and dancing? On January 23rd join everyone in Page for a festive Latin Jazz Concert. 

15. Join in to take the Polar Bear Plunge? Accompany town members and visitors in the annual Polar Bear Plunge on January 24th where neighbors and friends will jump into the chilly waters of Lake Powell. 

16. On January 24th attend the 45th Annual Page Lake Powell Chamber Banquet. Enjoy music, dancing, and an evening of fun and festivities.

FLAGSTAFF

18. <>Treasures of Museum of Northern Arizona: 75 Years of Passion for Discovery. This event is to celebrate the museum's 75th Anniversary, MNA staff have selected 75 treasures with stories from the Museum's collections to tell the institution's multi-faceted history and highlight the science behind them. Enjoy this event now through May.

19.  Downtown Flagstaff Sparkles for the Holidays: The first annual Pinecone Festival of Lights will light . Locals and visitors alike will have the delight of being treated to a magnificent light display in historic downtown this holiday season. The Downtown Business Alliance (DBA) has taken under the daunting task of lighting all the buildings in downtown Flagstaff with clear lights., marking the first annual Pinecone Festival of Lights.

20.  "This is a great time for the community to come together and celebrate the holidays in beautiful downtown Flagstaff," Leslie Connell, director of the Flagstaff Convention and Visitors Bureau, said. "It's also an effective way to market our town to potential tourists. People enjoy sharing holiday cheer in the cool crisp air and winter wonderland of northern Arizona." The festivities will kick-off on Sat., Nov. 22 with entertainment and a Sidewalk Sale in Heritage Square with the lights coming on at 5:30pm. The lighting of the Heritage Square Christmas Tree will immediately follow. The lights will shine in downtown Flagstaff beginning at 5pm daily through Mon., Jan. 5.

21. Little America Hotel is celebrating the 10th anniversary of its popular Holiday Lights Festival with a grand lighting ceremony of over one million lights Saturday, Nov November 29th, 2003, and  special events each Saturday through December 20th. The Jr. Master of Ceremonies will "flip the switch" on over one million lights at 6:30 PM, marking a decade of traditional holiday celebrations at the Flagstaff hotel. The honorary position will be awarded from a raffle supporting the Care and Share Food Bank, one of four charitable organizations to be sponsored each weekend. The November 29 celebration will also feature a delightful appearance by the Arizona Mountain Mushers, stirring performances by strolling carolers and local choirs, Flagstaff Symphony Suzuki violinists, free hot cider and cookies, and of course a visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus. That evening only, Mountain Line Transit, in cooperation with Flagstaff Mall, will offer free shuttle service to and from the event 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM to help ease traffic for the popular event. The mall will offer special shopping incentives for all riders.

22. Join the annual Riordan Mansion Christmas Party on December 13th from  9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Riordan Mansion State Historic Park.  Holiday party for everyone including craft activities for children to make and take home, cider and cake will be served.

23. Kick off the holiday season on December 6th by joining the Flagstaff City Hall for the City-Hall-i-day Tree lighting and Open House. Visits with Santa, arts & crafts, refreshments and entertainment with the Joy Ringers, Aspen Singers and others.

24. If you are ready for some Post-Christmas fun at Lowell Observatory will be celebrating the holidays with a Star Fest. This special event will feature numerous telescopes set up for viewing throughout the Lowell Campus. This year's highlight will be the planet Saturn. This event takes place on December 26th to the 28th.

25. Looking for a fun event to attend on Valentine's Day this coming year? Visit Flagstaff and enjoy a Teddy Bear Picnic and Arizona Statehood Party. This event takes place at Pioneer Museum all day.
